RIDE OPERATORS

Are you a high energy, outgoing, and fun individual looking for a thrilling seasonal job? Join our Rides & Attractions Team at Lightwater Valley! 
 
As a Ride Operator you'll help our guests experience the magic of the park safely while creating unforgettable memories. No previous experience is required - We'll provide all the training you need to become confident and competent in operating our rides. 
 

A typical day working on our Rides Team will involve:

Engaging with guests - Ensure guests meet ride requirements and provide exceptional service. 

Safety First - Perform pre-ride safety checks, keep ride areas clean, and follow all operational procedures.

Ride Operation - Operates rides confidently, adhering to manuals and training, reporting faults or incidents promptly and efficiently. 

Delivering the best customer service to all our guests - always smiling and being helpful and making it your mission to deliver memorable experiences to every guest!

Dealing with any difficult circumstances that may arise in a professional and efficient manner, passing them onto your manager as necessary.

Hours & Start date 

Start date - Easter Holidays 2025. 

Most of our seasonal roles are available on a full time and part time basis. A full time role is up to 40 hours a week, our part time roles are often 16 to 24 hours a week.

Our Park 

Lightwater Valley operates daily from 10.30am - 5pm. We aim to exceed guest expectations by offering great value for money, exceptional customer service and a dedicated team of enthusiastic and engaging staff, creating lasting happy memories for all the families who visit us.  

Key dates to remember 

  • Open Days: Listed on the application form. 
  • Recruitment Day: Join us on the 8th of February at 10am or 2pm. This is your chance to learn more, meet the team, ask questions, and potentially interview on the spot. 
  • Training for Easter Positions: Weekend training sessions will be held in March.

Age requirements 

There is no upper age limit to join our team. As long as you are 16 or turning 16 during this academic year, you are eligible to apply.
