CATERING TEAM

Are you full of energy, outgoing and ready to deliver exceptional customer service? Join our Catering Team!

You will be working in one of our catering outlets or kiosks on the park serving our fantastic food offer to our guests and working to the highest hygiene standards. No previous experience is necessary but personality is key – the rest can be trained! Full allergen training will be provided, so if you are looking into entering a career in hospitality this is great work experience! 

All the fun and excitement of a day at the park makes people hungry, and our Catering Units offer something for everyone, from fish and chips to pizza, hot dogs, burgers and sweet treats like donuts and ice cream - you'll play a key role in keeping our visitors fuelled for fun!

A typical day working in our F&B department will involve:

Customer Service - Delivering a fantastic guest experience by being friendly, helpful, and efficient - always with a smile!

Cleanliness - Keeping your work area clean and adhering to the highest hygiene standards. 

Service Excellence - Ensuring food is well-prepared, presented and served with minimal queuing time for guests. 

Problem Solving - Handling any challenges professionally and escalating them to your manager if necessary. 

Ensuring you adhere to all company policies, guidelines and expectations.

Team Work - Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

No experience necessary - full training is provided including allergen awareness. 

Hours and start date 

Start date - Easter Holidays 2025.
 

We offer both full time roles (up to 40 hours a week) and part time options (typically 16-24 hours a week). 

We also have roles available just over lunch periods (11am - 3pm).

Our Park 

Lightwater Valley operates daily from 10.30am - 5pm. We aim to exceed guest expectations by offering great value for money, exceptional customer service and a dedicated team of enthusiastic and engaging staff, creating lasting happy memories for all the families who visit us.  

Key dates to remember 

  • Open Days: Listed on the application form. 
  • Recruitment Day: Join us on the 8th of February at 10am or 2pm. This is your chance to learn more, meet the team, ask questions, and potentially interview on the spot. 
  • Training for Easter Positions: Weekend training sessions will be held in March.

Age requirements 

There is no upper age limit to join our team. As long as you are 16 or turning 16 during this academic year, you are eligible to apply.
