Reward your pupils by escaping to lightwater valley!

With over 35 rides and attractions to exhilarate the mini thrill seekers, step aboard the Savanna Express for a journey through the African Wilderness, twist and turn on the Little Dipper or plunge into Splash Falls on a rubber dinghy. For gentler thrills there's endless funfair tradition to enjoy, including our carousel, Lightwater Express Train and Vintage Car Rally.

Enjoy all the favourites, including the Eagles Claw, Splash Falls and of course the Lady Bird Rollercoaster.

Hall of Mirrors 
Wander through our Hall of Mirrors and erupt into fit of giggles as the mirrors stretch, squash and shrink your reflection.

Interactive Arcade and Virtual Reality 
Test your skills and have fun on our fantastic arcade machines. Can you get your score to the top of the arcade leader boards? Will you win a prize from the grabbers? There's a game for every fun seeker!

Such as the Dodgems and Twist and Turn!

TREETOP TRAILS

Now included within Lightwater Valley's offering is the Tree Top Trails. Tree Top Trails covers over 2,000 square metres of beautiful woodland at Lightwater Valley and is the biggest of its kind in the UK! 

Enjoy bouncy adventures as you crawl through tunnels, zip down slides, test your balance on walkways and jump for joy on the giant trampolines. Build your confidence whilst bouncing along the springy nets, completely surrounded by high net walls, you can play in the trees without a need for a harness. 

 

 

DISCOVERY WOODS

Children thrive outdoors and there is so much to see, do and learn in the brand new Discovery Woods. The trail is a woodland walk filled with interactive, hands on learning. We encourage children to get messy and creative in our Mud Kitchen, fish for creatures big and small whilst Pond Dipping in our Swan Lake, all the while keeping your eyes peeled for any woodland animals or birds! 

Upgrade your reward trip by adding on an Activity Pack for the Discovery Woods. The activity pack incorporates curriculum linked outdoor learning covering Foundation Level, Key Stage 1 and 2. Included within the pack is all the equipment needed for the Mud Kitchens and Pond Dipping.

If you prefer to conduct your own risk assessment then once your booking is made, Lightwater Valley offers 2 free teacher preview tickets should they wish to carry out their own pre-trip inspection. These tickets are for teachers only and allow up to 2 hour in the park at a pre-arranged date and time.
